OPS Records Technician 70900002

This advertisement is for an OPS position located at the Statewide Records Retention Center assisting in the Records Management Department.

Salary Rate:
$11.29 per hour

SALARY WILL BE DETERMINED IN ACCORDANCE WITH CURRENT PAY POLICY.

SPECIFIC DUTIES &
Responsibilities:

  • The Incumbent will identify document type and group type, electronically filing into the correct location within the database.
  • Responsible for logging daily work upon completion.
  • Records Management of Personnel/Classification/Medical Files in an electronic/warehouse setting.
  • Warehouse maintenance of over 1,000,000 classification, medical and personnel files
  • Pull/Deliver files upon request.
  • Audit/Log Inactive Records in a Records Management System.
  • Other related work duties.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:

  • Ability to alphabetize and file documents in a variety of ways i.e., numerical, alphabetical, by years, etc.;
  • Ability to operate general office equipment;
  • Ability to communicate information effectively, verbally and in writing;
  • Ability to establish meaningful working relationships with others.
  • Ability to drive a fork lift.
  • Ability to utilize deductive reasoning.
  • Knowledge of Florida Department of Corrections policy and procedure.
  • Knowledge of HIPPA regulations and Florida public record laws.

REQUIRED
Qualifications:

  • Must possess a High School Diploma or its equivalent.
  • Must possess valid driver s license.
  • Must be able to lift 40 lbs.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
